Site Back-up

  1. Backups are made by an installed module (see list of modules and extensions)
  2. Automated back-ups are scheduled for periodic backups
  3. Site owners should periodically delete old back-ups to conserve on space
  4. Site owners should also schedule regular back-ups from cPanel (or other site admin software)

Security

  1. To protect against hackers, do not use "admin" as your username
  2. NEVER POST CONFIDENTIAL CLIENT INFORMATION SUCH AS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS
  3. Change your passwords frequently
  4. Purchase SSL and Use https
  5. Consider password protecting your private directories
  6. NEVER use shared hosting
